Marriage Registration is made compulsory in the Property Act too u/s,
12. Registration of marriage : Every marriage solemnized under this Act shall be registered under the Mizoram Compulsory Registration of Marriage Act, 2007 or any other law for the time being in force.

This is the enactment which mandates compulsory registration of Marriages in Mizoram u/s
3. EVERY MARRIAGE IN THE STATE TO BE REGISTERED
After the date on which the provisions of this Act have been brought into force under sub-section (3) of section, every marriage contracted in the State shall be compulsorily registered in the manner provided in section 5.

This is the enactment which mandates compulsory registration of Marriages in Telangana u/s
Section 7.(1) After the commencement of Act, every marriage performed in the State shall be registered under this Act in the manner provided in section 8 notwithstanding the fact the said marriage had been entered in the Marriage Registers governed by the any other personal laws of the bride or bridegroom or customs and traditions.
(2) This Act does not apply to the Marriages already registered with the Registrar of Marriages appointed by the Government.
Here is the Jharkhand Compulsory Registration of Marriages Act, 2017 which has compulsory marriage registration u/s
10. Compulsory registration of marriages– (1) After the commencement of this Act, it shall be compulsory for all citizen residing in Jharkhand, whose marriage has been solemnised in the jurisdiction of a particular Marriage Registrar or if the marriage is solemnised outside the jurisdiction of Marriage Registrar but either of the parties of marriage is a resident of the particular Marriage Registrar jurisdiction, to get their marriage registered before the office of that Marriage Registrar.

Here is the Haryana Compulsory Registration of Marriages Act, 2008 which has compulsory marriage registration u/s
6. Every Marriage to be registered — After the commencement of this Act every marriage solemnized in the State irrespective of caste, religion and creed, shall be registered in the manner as provided in section 7.

Section 7.(1) After the commencement of Act, every marriage performed in the State shall be registered under this Act in the manner provided in section 8 notwithstanding the fact the said marriage had been entered in the Marriage Registers governed by the any other personal laws of the bride or bridegroom or customs and traditions.
(2) This Act does not apply to the Marriages already registered with the Registrar of Marriages appointed by the Government.
